Temecula
| Temecula grape growing started by the mission in the 18th century.
Today, the vines, factories and housing development co-exist in this part
of California. The seemingly dessert environment has a unique area where
the openings of hills provided a secret passage for cool air from the
ocean. This created a good grapes growing environment where bright sun
vaporizes the morning fog. Shopping, hot air ballooning as well as wine
tasting has attracted tourists to the region. |
